Problem we are trying to solve

62% of the global population consider themselves either lonely or left out from time to time.

We don’t have a tool to discover like-minded people to build more sustainable relationships.

Sustainable relationship

Let’s assume that a sustainable relationship is when all sides within this relationship feel comfortable and benefit from being together. True friendship is a very good example of it. A deep intimate relationship, when people learn and discover each other on a deeper than the physical level experience is another one. Working and dedicating your life to some project - deserves the right colleagues, we spend so much time with these people.

The hypothesis is that in order to start building such relationships we need to discover those people who:

For the second point - we have already tools like geo-locations, etc. What we don’t have is trust in those tools in terms of privacy. We can solve this by providing a fully decentralized and private service by using the IC platform.

Allkinds project is trying to solve the first one.

Possible solution, how it works

When we meet new people we simply start asking questions. We are learning from each other, we are trying to understand each other. And upon answers, we start understanding if this is the “right” person to start building something together or not.

Allkinds is very similar to this. People can anonymously ask questions in a yes/no format about what they consider important or interesting. They reply to these questions by themselves indicating the importance of every question in a +/- number. Then these questions go to people around the user. People around answer these questions and ask their own.

Once any number of questions are answered - people can filter/sort users around on the percentage of the same answers to the same questions weighted upon importance for both users. Then the user can navigate to another individual profile, see a picture or other information if provided, and compare his answers against the other user. Here we don’t show answers, we show whether answers were the same (both responded yes, or both responded no) thus keeping answers private to this pair of users.

Once an interesting candidate is found the user can add him as a connection and should be able to communicate (messenger).

Meta profile

While asking and answering questions users are building their meta profiles. They basically create and mark up data. Taking into account that importance for every question can be virtually any number every profile is going to be unique. This personal marked-up set of data is the main asset of the user and the system as a whole.

To have the ability to compare and filter these datasets would be a great achievement by itself, but possibly it can be significantly enhanced with natural language processing.
